Clicks goes live with EFT
After working closely with eCentric Switch for the past 14 months Clicks have successfully piloted an integrated EFT solution at their Tableview store. Roll out across the Clicks Group is scheduled over the coming twelve months.
eCentric Switch has played a major role in the set up of the switching environment including integration and testing of the POS and back office systems and the interface to the acquiring bank.
eCentric Switch is hosting the primary and back up Postilion Switches and provide a full end-to-end support service including managing the network and stores.
The infrastructure includes a Verifone Pin Pad integrated to the RetailX point of sale system, communicating through esocket.pos to the central Postilion and onto Standard Bank.
"Clicks is a great reference site for us" said eCentric Switch's Rob de Vries. "We have worked closely with all of Clicks suppliers in the delivery of this project. We have responsibility for the daily operation of the system with the goal being near 100% service availability in the stores. We are very well positioned to offer similar services to the retail market."
