eCentric enhances its hosting division
eCentric Switch has acquired the assets of Nashua Connect in Cape Town and employed the hosting team to strengthen its hosted services division.
The assets include various hardware and application components that will be integrated into the established eCentric hosted services facility as well as 21 clients including Spur Holdings, Retail Decisions and BusConn Network Services.
The Nashua team, headed by Michael Wilson, will join the Operations team, with Michael taking over as Operations Manager.
Mike Scott, Managing Director of eCentric, said that a focus of the business this year is to contract more EFT Switching business and that this acquisition completes all the ingredients required to put together a world-class data centre. Michael Wilson and his team will complement the existing team to ensure that eCentric continues to provide a high-class and responsive service to its growing customer base.
